Somewhere going from Louisiana into Texas: Six to Nine Months after the Outbreak
Who would have thought you would be in the middle of Texas. How is Texas even this green I thought it was dry and barren with like tumbleweeds or something?
*Either your passenger in your vehicle or your internal monologue informs you, "No that is West Texas" You are currently somewhere in rural... northernish Texas?*
It's really starting to get late, but I/We need to keep pushing forward, I haven't seen any reanimated in a while maybe there...
Then you see it. THAT billboard. You slam on the breaks. (You know you really should buckle your seatbelt) You stare at the glorious sign of human civilization:
Hello Survivors. You are almost here. We are so glad you are alive. You are not alone. Scan your FM radio channels to find Our Reapeated Broadcast. See You Soon.
You hit that lovely scan button on the radio of your car, you cannot believe your freaking ears. You are being rickrolled in the middle of the fucking apocalypse. You let out a laugh, you simply can't help it. The song ends and your heart starts beating our of your chest as there are a few seconds of silence. Then a sultry voice comes on:
"If you can hear this, this is an automated message brought to you by our little colony. This message is currently being played on repeat but I urge you to listen to me. You are not alone, we are here and we have room for any Survivors, If you follow my instructions and the road signs you should be here in no time..."
You listen to the girl, and start driving again. Day-dreaming for a moment wondering if the Prison she mentioned has running water. Or better yet hot water! You haven't had a shower in god knows how long....
[I will be posting cute little things like this to invite people to start joining the group and proceeding to rp. You don't have to jump into the colony right away. Who knows how your characters even get to Texas anyhow. But I thought I would drop you this little breadcrum. I will be dropping more soon, don't worry.]
